Suddenly I sensed The Lord smiling at me. You know. The way a parent does when His kid is eagerly spouting grand-but-naive ideas.
”I don’t know why I’m telling You this,” I chuckled aloud.
“You never do things my way.”
God Supplies Our Needs
One thing I’ve learned about God – He didn’t take the same Math Courses I did. Can’t recall how He met our needs that time. But He did. He always did.
And He’s still doing it today.
- He’s Generous beyond imagination.
- It’s Who He is & what He does.
So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. MATTHEW 6:31-33
He Actually Prefers Multiplication, Starting with X2!
Instead of your shame
you will receive a double portion,
and instead of disgrace
you will rejoice in your inheritance.
And so you will inherit a double portion in your land,
and everlasting joy will be yours. ISAIAH 61:7
