My Journey

How My Journey Began

Me & DadMy dad was Pentecostal, and my mom was Baptist. Their marriage lasted 9 years. And ended before I was 3 years old.

We moved into a house between the First Baptist Church and the Nazarene Church, and my mom chose the Nazarenes. So I was raised a Nazarene by a Baptist mom.

I married a Lutheran when I was 18 years old, and we became United Methodists. Our marriage didn’t last either, yet the Lord remained faithful to me through everything.

But I had never given my heart to any man

“It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”That is, until the Summer of 2011.

And that’s when everything changed.

I had known painful relationships. Unsafe relationships. Manipulative relationships. It made me an empathic counselor.

But that Cinderella Summer brought me fresh revelation about the Wonder of a Man and the Goodness of God.

From Glory to Glory

No, my life did not become suddenly smooth. In many ways, it became quite the opposite. And it’s still pretty bumpy at times. Because the enemy of our souls does not want any of us to live like we belong to Heaven.

Every Promise, every Dream, every Hope
has been contested

Through it all, we are learning to fight the good fight.
To use our Spiritual Armor to realize the Victory Christ won on The Cross.

I know because He has give this to me,
He will gladly give it to you, too!
Just ask Him!
